Panattonni Europe a big contender for the CIJ Awards Poland 2012
Panattoni Europe developed and had under construction as much as 240,000 sqm in Poland, which according to a Jones Lang LaSalle report makes the developer the most active player in the market.
Once more the past year has proved Panattoni as market leader in the build-to-suit real estate segment.
In H1 of 2012, Panattoni Europe had under development many industrial projects The most noteworthy projects include: Panattoni Park Łódź East, which was extended by a further 27,700 sqm in two buildings; Panattoni Park Wrocław II and the emerging 10,000-square-metre building; and a further 28,000 sqm at Panattoni Park Mysłowice.
New contracts: The contracts signed for the period of H1.2012 account for nearly 162,600 sqm of space, of which more than 124,200 sqm was in new contracts, making the developer the market leader with a 30% share. One particularly noteworthy contract among them is for 35,000 sqm of modern industrial and warehouse space for one of the largest manufacturers of glass and glass products, Nippon Sheet Glass. The facility is under construction at the Tarnobrzeg Special Economic Zone EURO-PARK WISŁOSAN and is the largest foreign investment in 2011 granted by the Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency.
The company is paving the way in the build-to-suit segment realizing a lot of industrial projects in special economic zones in Poland. The completed projects include: Świebodzin with 10,700 sqm for RECARO Aircraft Seating Polska Sp. z o.o. - the global leader specialising in manufacturing economy-class aircraft seats; 12,000 sqm for Nagel Group at Panattoni Park Święcice; 32,000 sqm for Manuli Hydraulics, 17,600 sqm for Faurecia.
