    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Ominous clouds caused by Hurricane Sandy can be seen scudding over the Dominican Republic's capital, Santo Domingo, in iReporter misael's timelapse video. "Hurricane Sandy brought a lot of rain and flooding in the streets and avenues of many cities here," he said, "leaving many of them without communications at all." The hurricane killed 21 people as it swept over the Caribbean and could hit the U.S. east coast next week after menacing Florida.
