    Making it in America: Mompreneurs

    Rowdy Mannequin Lamps

My name is Raudy Maxwell, and to me, making it in America is following a deep passion that consumes your spirit. I have always had the inner passion and desire to incorporate my talents into "one". Making various lamps out of mannequins and parts has allowed me to do this. My primitive folk art, makeup experience and other creative juices all flow together into the making of my lamps. I create a variety from Holiday, mermaid, leg lamps and more (male and female lamps)! Many friends and family are in amazement of my creations and believe I should sell them. The challenge is marketing them to the correct people. Some online sites are not the place to sell "one of a kind" items since most people do not appreciate them until viewed in person. I do not have a store front and have actively been searching a great place to market them (some places are interested). Making it in America is such a blessing to where each and everyone can follow your desires and dreams by placing the dedication and hard work into it. Believe in yourself! I believe in myself and these creations. I share my story in hopes that others will not give up on their passions and deep desires. Keep on going, good things happen with hard work and kindness towards others. If you believe in yourself and your product, others will believe in you and it as well.

These lamp creations would make wonderful home accents for the holidays and other occassions, also make wonderful props on various sets.

Thank you for allowing me to share a little piece of my creative life with you.

    Raudy
