Aurora Borealis in Northwest Alaska
'To create this kaleidoscope of color the sun's charged solar particles must ignite the earth's magnetic lines. It's a galactic event and one of pure grandeur and beauty. Even more rare is witnessing them so bright and full of color,' he says.
'Local Natives were whispering into my ear that they had never seen such an amazingly bright and expansive display of the Northern Lights. This particular night is considered a twenty year phenomena and one that I will remember forever. '
