President Obama in Richmond, Virginia
I attended the rally today for President Obama in Richmond, VA. Doors opened at 9 AM; the presentations began at noon. Despite the long wait in the hot sun and standing so long, there was a positive vibe in the crowd. I watched as people came to the aid of others several times. We made friends with those around us, held babies and passed the time together. I loved watching people make sure those who needed water got it, and when people passed through the crowd, instead of being upset people were making sure they got through safely. I had never seen President Obama live before and it was such an impressive experience. He was clearly hoarse, but 100% on his game. He electrified the crowd! It was an incredible day.
