This iReport is part of an assignment:
What are you watching?
Jeff Probst Knows Most
Let me start off by saying I am a huge Jeff Probst fan. This man is the most kind hearted, sincere, and fun man that I know of on television. How you ask do I know?
After watching him for 100’s of hours on Survivor, meeting him in person at the California Science Center in August of 2010, and now being a part of his new syndicated talk show, named The Jeff Probst Show, I can exclaim that all with confidence.
I had the honor to not only sit in his audience for two tapings on October 25th, but I was picked out of the audience to ask a question during his On The Couch segment, which is at the end of his shows. It was a provocative question, but when do you know me to shy away?
Jeff and his new show fit like a glove. This is something he was made to do. He is so personable and intrigued with each and every one of his guests. He knew his material and I can tell he does his homework. One producer told me that she has been in the business for a long time and this was the first person she had worked with that came to the production meetings. You can look at some behind the scene footage on their website that proves it.
Probst knows the most when it comes to how to treat an audience. He and his outstanding production team came up with The Party Room. The music was pumping. Snacks and water was provided. Hair and makeup were offered. Laptops were at my disposal. A photo booth made for a great souvenir. The seating was comfy. At one time I slipped off my shoes and started dancing. I didn’t want to leave.
Jeff and his staff made the time fly by. Brittany the producer that entertains the audience during the shoot kept us laughing the entire time. I couldn’t believe I had been there for a total of five hours.
I highly recommend that when you are in the Hollywood area that you go to a taping of The Jeff Probst Show. Jeff and his staff treat their audience like you are doing them a favor and not the other way around.
This show is a HIT and I wish them long success.
I will update you all when I find out when my episode I was in airs, but in the meantime check out his website: www.jeffprobst.com . They also can be followed on Facebook and Twitter.
All photos were taken with permission and allowed free usage. All photos are self explanatory, but the last one is of me and Jeff Probst meeting at the California Science Center in August 2010. The set was beautiful and I wish I could share, but no photos were allowed.
The show airs on NBC in the Greater Los Angeles area. It is a syndicated show, so please check your local listings or visit the website.
