    Calling early voters

    Voted Early

I voted today to re-elect President Obama because I am a woman, and I believe in the absolute separation of Church and State. I voted because I believe that we are nothing if we don’t take care of the weak among us; because I am an Arab-American muslim who has been alienated by the GOP; because I don’t believe that an excuse for war is a good enough reason to wage it; because I believe that our economy is heading in the right direction; because Mitt Romney has not given me any specifics about how his magic spells are going to work; because I believe that none of this will matter if we destroy the only planet we have. But most importantly, I voted because I am the mother of a child with autism who had been denied healthcare coverage for far too long!
