When we met Obama at the Transfer of Remains Ceremony, there was no sincerity in his apology. We received handshakes, fake smiles, and the usual "We will bring the people who did this to justice." Now with all this news breaking out our family is in utter disbelief, angered, and feel we were deceived. My sister has urged us to remain silent because she wants to grieve without any media attention. However, due to the upcoming election we feel that if Obama had the audacity to deceive us and hide information about our loved one who is, indeed, a true American hero, in order to save face for reelection, then he would oblige to do the same to the American people in a 2nd term as President. Our family has suffered many changes in our lives today because of Ty's loss such as assisting in the care of Ty and Dorothy's new son, Kai. Would he be content if Michelle were to suffer the same consequences under the circumstances that he placed Ty under?? If the President is willing to look past the heroics of men who laid their lives on the line to save other Americans without sending them any help that was readily available then what would he do for your average American citizen?? He received a good nights rest for his appearance in Las Vegas while our loved one was fending off terrorists from harming our people yet he emphasizes protecting the lives of the American people. That, in our opinion, is not how a leader leads. I ask that the American people take this into consideration as they prepare to vote for our next President. Ty was a man who loved his family and his country and did everything he could to protect it...and President Obama turned his back on him during a time of need to make scheduled appearances in order to retain his presidency.
