Turbulence, violence in the Middle East |
President Obama...what were you referring to....on Sept. 25?
On September 25th, the President gave remarks at the UN General Assembly. The transcript of this from the White House can be located in its entirety at http://www.whitehouse.gov/the-press-office/2012/09/25/remarks-president-un-general-assembly.
President Obama said: "There's no video that justifies an attack on an embassy."
To what specifically.....was he referring to? Read the context of his "remarks".
He starts by talking about Ambassador Stevens. He then later says: "There should be no doubt that we will be relentless in tracking down the killers and bringing them to justice." (notice......he didn't call them terrorists.....he just said "killers").
He then went on to talk about the disturbance in the middle east recently and the video.....which he made a clear point to condemn......then went on to defend responsible freedoms.......
He then said: "And on this we must agree: There is no speech that justifies mindless violence. (Applause.) There are no words that excuse the killing of innocents. There's no video that justifies an attack on an embassy. There's no slander that provides an excuse for people to burn a restaurant in Lebanon, or destroy a school in Tunis, or cause death and destruction in Pakistan."
What specific attack was he referring to that was justified by a video?
Seems pretty clear to me.....the only example he has.........Libya. (although he might try to counter that was not technically an "embassy".....but the point is.....which one were you referring to.....tell us.).
What do you say.....Mr . President?
Just explain what is going on.
Oh.....and you might want to update the White House Website......when you look through the Statements and Releases.......you have none about this attack.......since right after it occurred..........you might have noticed that was about 6 weeks ago.......a word........please........sir.
One of your employers......
