    Sandy is slidin up our NC coast this AM... we are ready for her to turn out to sea and we will wave by by....The pier is closed it lost 200 feet in Irene. You are looking out from the East to the west in this shot. Wind was steady firm not storm force yet. Gusts are whippin around however steady rain. One surfer was there!
