I am 54 and a full quadriplegic. I have been for the last nine plus years. Since the accident in 2003 I have not exercised my right to vote because of the difficulties involved; but in this Presidential election, I feel that I need to have my voice heard with my vote. Mitt Romnney has grouped me with the 47% that he doesn't care about! That is not fair! I depend on my Social Security through no fault of my own! I am not a deadbeat or a leech! There are millions like me who would choose to be able-bodied workers if only we could choose. "Forty-seven percent of Americans pay no income tax," Romney said, and that his role "is not to worry about those people. I'll never convince them they should take personal responsibility and care for their lives." How dare he lump me in with a much smaller percentage who actually do take advantage of the system! He claims that it was an "off the cuff" remark, but obviously you don't come up with a figure like 47% without having thought about the issue in advance! I am voting early because I want to make sure my vote is counted!
