silly irritation...but found it odd
Hi, I tried signing up for the ireport, but had difficulty...this is not my complaint...I CNN I just wanted to know if any other Obama supporters had an experience like mine. I have been signed up to receive notification for the Obama campaign since the 2008 election. Last week, I began to receive emails from the Washington Times soliciting donations for Romney. I was less than pleased. I responded to the email asking to be removed, and added that I would be voting for President Barack Obama. Of course, the next day I received another email...this one from Mitt Romney (I know its not him...but you've seen these types of email blast). I again responded saying to remove me immediately, that I would be voting for President Barack Obama. Then I get another email from someone named John Martin at the Washington Times asking me to forward those emails to me so they can understand how this happened because I was not in their mail list. Needless to say, I have not responded yet... but I was so irritated by that. Maybe it sounds silly to others...but I was fuming. Here's the only thing I found interesting. In both emails, the Romney camp asked for a minimum of $15. Obama ask for a minimum of $5. It is a very simple detail... what that says to me, is the Obama camp is truly trying to reach the common person. Including those that $5 is a gallon of gas (as it has been in California). I wonder if the quantity of donations could be calculated vs. Romneys. I think that would be telling. Obama deserves another term. He's a thinker. As long as he continues to think, calculate the results...he will continue to move the economy forward. Now I am just venting. I am fortunate enough to make a decent living, more so than a lot of people. I measure the economy based on my business. I can tell you it is going in the right direction. Thank you for listening.
