Election 2012: Your stories |
Republican (lack of) Solutions
The republicans are really good at creating problems but terrible at fixing them. Their mantra is usually "let it fix itself" and if it were up to a Republican administration GM would be bankrupt and the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan would still be raging.
Mitt Romney offers plenty of criticism about Barack Obama but no real viable plan as to how he will fix the economy. His only proposal is a 5 trillion dollar tax cut, which would go mostly to the top earners in the country, while at the same time promising to boost spending on defense.
Romney is practicing what George Bush called "Voodoo economics" in 1980. How can you cut revenue and increase spending while at the same time cutting the deficit? The answer is you can't.
