This iReport is part of an assignment:
Travel photo of the day |
Clock, calendar, checkbook-tossed
West of the turn pike
Anywhere I wander is
Where I'll make my rest
We'll be travellng early, travelling light
It's a tough and a dirty long hike, you can come if you like.
It's been a slice on CNN. I just had an email from my friend the Video man, who detailed his leaving CNN.
Allen understood my frustration.
The cars filed with gas, the camera is loaded. The checkbook, the watch, the clock are punted.
I'm free as a butterfuly. A few trips north then the South Pacific. My market is established and large.
Photographhy and publishing give me my liberty.
Hasta la vista baby.
The final photo is one I took years ago of my mother in the prime of her life. Those days were golden. And I was shooting 120 Kodak black and white film on Hasselblad cameras. Without photos, moments are lost forever, like tears in the rain. It's just a simple dedication to art, lifestyle and a way of life.
Like photos, human beings develop from negatives.
Guess I'll take it to the limit one more time.
