    'Superstorm' Sandy: Your stories

    Sunday Before Superstorm Sandy

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Ergin Akbas is driving back home to Rochester, New York, after visiting New York City over the weekend. He says he could definitely see people reacting to news of Hurricane Sandy approaching, saying he saw traffic pick up as people were driving out of the city, and several signs reading "state of emergency" studded across the highway, as well as more utility trucks on the road. 'It is not out of control here, but I think there is a little panic,' he said. 'I have friends in New York City, and I know this is supposed to be a superstorm, but I think people have mixed feelings about the storm because Irene wasn't that big, so there is some skepticism,' he said.
