    Frankenstorm Sandy Pictures

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     postman555 documented strengthening waves for the past three days in Sebastian and Vero Beach, Florida. He says the winds are dying down, but the waves remain powerful. Although Hurricane Sandy was not directly impacting Sebastian, Florida, he says the ocean has been rough and he believes it is because of the surge from the hurricane. He says the Sebastian Inlet Bridge and pier is closed currently because the structures suffered damage from the rough waves. 'They are not letting people onto the beach or the pier on the north end,' he said. 'The waves are rough, and there are no boats out there. Normally boats go out there no matter what the waves are.'

PLEASE NOTE: Sandy is an extremely dangerous storm. We urge iReporters to take caution when documenting the storm and follow local guidance. For storm information specific to your area, please monitor warnings issued by your local National Weather Service forecast office.
