    Thousand-year old Olive Trees

    My friend and I spent the weekend at the Club Hotel Casino in Loutraki, 65 km west of Athens. Loutraki is a seaside resort in the Gulf of Corinth known for its vast natural springs and therapeutic spas.

    I was impressed by the olive trees in the hotel's garden reportedly over one thousand years old. According to the hotel manager, these were transplanted from an olive grove in the Corinth area.

    The last photo is said to date back to 2000 years.
