Freshest look at Hurricane Sandy from Asbury Park NJ

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     iReporter Joseph Braha captured this video of large waves in Asbury Park, New Jersey, at first light on Monday morning - where on the right hand side of the video you can just see the one of the city's jetties almost completely submerged by the high waves. "It's the worst I've seen - and I come here every summer - worse even than during [Hurricane] Irene," he said. "It was rainy and windy, the gusts were very high and no-one else was walking around." Much of the city is closed down in preparation for Hurricane Sandy to hit, although the order for evacuation has not yet been made, he said. Check out more videos and images on our Hurricane Sandy Open Story.

PLEASE NOTE: Sandy is an extremely dangerous storm. We urge iReporters to take caution when documenting the storm and follow local guidance. For storm information specific to your area, please monitor warnings issued by your local National Weather Service forecast office.

This is the very newest look at the Hurricane pushing the water current towards the highest water levels ever here, well at least in my lifetime. This is in Asbury Park, NJ
