    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     iReporter Nick Mattison captured this image near Fort Tiden, NY. He notes the 'dramatic increase' in water levels since yesterday, and the low visibility. Watching Sandy unfold has given Nick a 'heightened sense of self-preservation.' Nick explains that it is 'breathtaking to see the power that mother nature can dish out.'

    PLEASE NOTE: Sandy is an extremely dangerous storm. We urge iReporters to take caution when documenting the storm and follow local guidance. For storm information specific to your area, please monitor warnings issued by your local National Weather Service forecast office.
