    Hudson River crests in Riverside Park NYC

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     This iReporter told me, 'It's really windy, it's roaring pretty ferociously. We saw tree limbs down everywhere. We headed down to the edge of the river, and I had never seen the water crest over, so my girlfriend and I decided to make a little news report out of it. I have a friend in Long Island who lost power three or four hours ago, another down in lower Manhattan.' CNN cannot confirm the river has crested at this time.

    PLEASE NOTE: Sandy is an extremely dangerous storm. We urge iReporters to take caution when documenting the storm and follow local guidance. For storm information specific to your area, please monitor warnings issued by your local National Weather Service forecast office.
