    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     derek79 told me, 'It was eerily quiet actually- with just wind blowing through periodically I saw people casually walking around, people taking pictures of the car. No one seemed concerned. I think now that the power is out in the East Village, people are getting more concerned.'

    This was taken outside my apartment at about 8:45pm.  This is on 7th Street between 1st and 2nd Ave in New York City.
