CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Brian Maher of Upper Saddle River, New Jersey, sent this video that he shot with his iPhone as he went outside to see if the neighbors were doing OK. 'A large tree snapped the power lines and started four fires,' he says, adding that he believes a fallen tree may have caused a transformer to explode. He describes the storm as having 'very little rain' but still being 'very windy.'

PLEASE NOTE: Sandy is an extremely dangerous storm. We urge iReporters to take caution when documenting the storm and follow local guidance. For storm information specific to your area, please monitor warnings issued by your local National Weather Service forecast office.
