My fiance and I were in Boothbay Harbor, Maine 3 weeks ago, where the replica HMS Bounty was in dry dock for specialized repairs that can only be done in a few shipyards in the world, Boothbay Harbor Shipyard being one of them. From our hotel, The Tugboat Inn, we noticed the majestic masts rising above the town, so on a morning stroll we walked over and I took these photos. HMS Bounty now rests at the bottom of the Atlantic, one of Hurricane Sandy's first victims with a crew of 16 (14 have rescued to date).
