    'Superstorm' Sandy: Your stories

    Rutherford, NJ Storm Damage

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     iReporter ajax2cle walked around his home town of Rutherford, New Jersey, to capture these images of downed trees - and the beginnings of what will no doubt be a long clear up process. "We've had wind storms before and trees coming down, but it was bad to see that the landscape had visibly changed," he said. "People were walking around in a state of shock." Our iReporter, who works in IT, says he has been unable to reach customers today and has not been able to ascertain whether local servers have been affected by the storm, although he says power at least has stayed on.

PLEASE NOTE: Sandy is an extremely dangerous storm. We urge iReporters to take caution when documenting the storm and follow local guidance. For storm information specific to your area, please monitor warnings issued by your local National Weather Service forecast office.
