    Elkins WV update

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     xpapy has been covering the storm in Elkins, West Virginia, and sent this update on Tuesday.

    Power went out this morning about 4:30 am. Almost everything is closed, No gas stations open. Some stores selling goods, cash only, while there still is day light,
    I'm running DSL off a small generater,
    Snow is very heavy on tree limbs and wires, a lot breaking branches and trees faling. Main roads are semi cleared, back roads can go either way. Some semi clear, some not.
    If comeing to Elkins WV, make sure you have full tank of gas in your vehicle and enough groceries to substain for a few days,
    This video was taken this morning, Don't expect power to be restored anytime soon. Wind is still calm for now, it is 3:15 pm 30 Oct, Elkins WV. Note: if traveling, insure roads to be traveled are actually open and not closed.
