"Neither the president nor anyone in the White House denied any requests for assistance in Benghazi," National Security Council spokesman Tommy Vietor told Yahoo News by email (Saturday).

So, that must mean that either no request was made for assistance in Benghazi or….all the assistance requested was provided.

I find it difficult to believe that requests for assistance were NOT made…..or that “send no help…..was the request”.

I think this for two reasons: 1) it defies logic…..that a consulate under attack w/ little security…..but direct communication….would not ask for help and 2) it’s not how our system works.

Let me expand on the 2nd reason. Our Commander-In-Chief, the Secretary of State, The Director of the CIA, the Secretary of Defense and the Director of National Security all have responsibility to protect Official American Interests abroad. They are not there to only…..respond to requests…..for assistance…….but to Protect and Defend.
So, they…..make the call…….on sending help…….they don’t just wait for a request…..like some technical help-line.

I think what we are being “told” through indirect inference…….is that the Commander-in-Chief……saw nothing that we could do…..to provide assistance during the 7 hour attack……….or that he chose……..not to take action.

Could the lack of response have anything to do…..with their initial belief that his was a protest gone wild……that it was civil disobedience…..and not an attack by terrorists?

If they believed they were being attacked by terrorists……then why would the only option be………zero response…….let them get tired and go home?
I would like President Obama to explain what happened…..and why.

The administration has clearly been avoiding answering questions on what happened. It is further made worse by their contradictory stories from 9/12 (first announcement by Pres Obama in the Rose Garden)……and including 9/25 when Pres Obama spoke to the UN…..and directly blamed the video.

What is going on President Obama?

Please address this matter now and in a straightforward way. It’s been almost 50 days……surely…….you have an update for those of us who employee you?
