Got My Green Boots in the surf here on the South Shore of Nantucket

Here is what was happening at 10:30 this morning on Nantucket. The surf is still pounding creating 6 foot plus waves and tons of sea foam on the South Shore. The wind is dying down to calm 10MPH out of the SE, but there are gale gusts out on the beach still being generated by sandy’s eminent pull. Thunderstorms are in the forecasts but currently the temp is 62 degrees with occasional breaks in the clouds.
