Brooklyn Has Power - Manhattan Does Not

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     JShapNYC was walking his dog in Williamsburg last night when noticed an 'incredible view' from the pier. 'It's so eerie to see the entire part of lower Manhattan all blacked out. I can't remember one time losing power. Just to see these cars darting over the bridge into total darkness was a surreal sight,' he said. See his photo of the half light, half dark skyline here.
    - zdan, CNN iReport producer

A view of the Williamsburg Bridge shot from North Williamsburg at 11:00pm on Tuesday, October 30th. Half of the bridge and Brooklyn is lit, while the Manhattan side and the surrounding part of the island remains shrouded in darkness.
