brief visit on the day after sandy
I took a small journey with my friend today to Manhattan.
Crossing from Williamsburg bridge. Half of the bridge was completely shutdown. on Manhattan side everything was completely dark but emergency and police light. The phone signal was also cut off. The only communication is public line phone. Everything was dark in lower of manhattan but NYU campus. Many people hangout there. I walk up to around 28 street and there are electronic through entire upper manhattan.
There are some cross town bus on 14 st . There are some grocery open on 14 st as well
