Biggest Threat to the US
U.S. Economy
There are many problems facing the US right now but in my opinion, the economy in the country right now may be the biggest of them all if we do not do something about it. All of the blame for almost everything that happens in today’s world is blamed on the president, but i do not believe it should all be put on his shoulders, especially in Obama's case.
The economy in America has steadily been dropping throughout the years ever since Bush came to office and left the office. Some say that Obama is the reason that our economy is the way that it is, but in reality, it was on the edge of break when he took office in 2008, after Bush served his terms as president. Governor Mitt Romney, so far in every debate has brought up facts such as unemployment rates, number of American’s with food stamps, and other things trying to prove to the people that he is the reason that all of this is happening. When President Obama took office, the condition of the economy was terrible, next to the worst since the great depression, so there may be some blame that you're able to put on Obama for that but a majority of it should be put on the shoulders of former Presidents.
Also, not only should the president and former presidents be blamed for the economy collapse, the people of the United States should have to take some of the blame because they do things that do not help the economy. Businesses and manufacturing companies also have some of the blame fall on them for what they are producing, at what rates, and also at what prices. With that, all of this is brushed to the side and still, all the blame lands right in Obama’s hands like always, which i believe is unfair and not right at all. But then again, what else to expect? He is the president of the United States of America and his job is to keep us up and running and do all the things a leader should do.
It is going to take a full on effort not only from the President and the government, but also from the large business’ and even the people that live in this country. And to end on a positive note, Obama has made unemployment rates drop in the recent weeks by quite a bit actually, so that must be some signs of improvement right there in our economy.
