Calling early voters |
I Voted Early in Florida
Age 59
Tallahassee, Florida
Why I chose to vote early:
I voted early to gete out of the pre-election craziness. I can ignore all those political commercials and signs now.
I no longer have candidates to consider or issues to figure out. For example, the proposed constitutional amendments on the Florida ballot were so wordy and confusing it took two cards to hold it all. It was the longest ballot in Leon County history. I don't need that kind of pressure on Election Day.
I voted early so that on November 6, I can be at home waiting for election results instead of standing in a long line at the polls and dealing with precinct issues or temperamental voting machines.
Who I voted for:
Barack Obama and the straight Democratic ticket.
The biggest issue for you in this election:
The presidential race, of course. I believe Romney will try his best to outsource United States government functions to corporate entities. It stuns me that people don't see that.
