For this year's Halloween celebration, I decided to join a costume contest in a modest promenade in our community.

My daughter and I were contestants in the family category costume contest. Seriously, I wanted the experience more than the prize since I know the exposure will be a real adventure for both of us, the moments will be unforgettable and will surely give us a more bonded relationship.

Sure enough, the young competitors of the other categories made the day exciting and unusual. Their efforts & commitment showed depth to the word 'participation' in this Halloween event.

These shuddery young contestants looked like they just stepped out from scenes of horror movies.

They were always in character. I cannot imagine how these kids handled the heat under those heavy masks and make up.

So yeah, the event was surely unforgettable since it scared the hell out of my daughter. And for our more bonded relationship...I sure hope so...my daughter has never hugged me that tight before - that was while her face was tucked and hidden and her eyes avoiding to see the those serious little critters. hehe
