    No Halloween After Sandy

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     While Alocations didn't spot anyone celebrating Halloween in her part of Manhattan, some people in less affected neighborhoods did dress up and trick-or-treat. See Upper West Side residents celebrating here.
    - rachel8, CNN iReport producer

New York City experienced a very different Halloween this year due to the arrival of Hurricane Sandy. Apparently people decided to celebrate days before the storm. Rather than wearing their favorite character or Hero outfit, people were more interested in staying connected and finding sources of power and wireless internet.
