Mazel Day School - Sandy Aftermath

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     AnnaAsh photographed these images of the devastation left behind by Hurricane Sandy at the Mazel Day School in Brooklyn, New York, on October 28. She says everything in the school has been completely demolished and it took them two days to manually pump the water out of the building because there is no power. She says school board members have been reaching out to local politicians to find a temporary building that can house the kids until the school can be cleaned up but its been to no avail as of yet. She says the school is considering holding classes in the homes of parents until things are cleaned up.
    - Jamescia, CNN iReport producer

Our dear school in South Brooklyn has been completely destroyed. We have put so much love and time and effort into creating a special environment for our children and it all has been washed away by Sandy.
