    Sandy Floods Downtown Hoboken

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     iReporter Sobie1 captured this video of surreal scenes in downtown Hoboken two days after Superstorm Sandy hit, as National Guard drive through the streets, vehicles remain submerged and trees block roads. "Some businesses were giving out free coffee, something I've never experienced here," he said. "People are very friendly and willing to help out." Our iReporter says his area did not experience flooding but he is still without power and has spent several evenings lit by candles. He was able to return to work today and took advantage of the opportunity to charge up his phones, camera and computer.
    - sarahbrowngb, CNN iReport producer

Scenes from Hoboken on 12/31/12. Keep in mind these images are from two days after Sandy hit. Flooding was much worse.
