    Mazel Day School - Community Coming Together to Rebuild

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     AnnaAsh and the entire Mazel Day School community have banded together to help rebuild their school that began in 2002. Most of the school has been destroyed by Sandy and the children are currently without a building to learn. Parents and school leaders have decided that the students will temporarily learn in the homes of parents of the school. The photos show students, parents and teachers all working together to help get their school back in shape.

    The past few days have been very sad for our community. We have all seen the tremendous loss caused by Sandy, but these pictures are beyond heartbreaking. Our school was built with the hard work and love of parents, teachers and children - today almost all of our K-6 classrooms have been washed away.

    However, what matters the most is our strong and loving community that despite personal losses and hardship, came together to help our dear school. Together we will rebuild! www.donatemazel.com
