    House Left Leveled after Sandy

    In Garden City, New York, the usually surreal neighborhood surrounded by big and beautiful trees was left unrecognizable surrounded in disaster. Monday night Sandy hit many homes causing transformers like this home's to catch fire. We watched a blue blaze in the angered skies as flames appeared from the living room window we ran to help. This picture is all that is left along with a huge hole, muck and what use to be a car in the driveway.
