No power. No cable and what to do with the trees.

Superstore Sandy left a reminder to everyone in the eastern US that has never been remedied.. Trees. And we're not talking about your garden variety type.. We're talking 100 or more years old that are tangled up with power lines and are so oversized and frail that it does not take much to see what happens when any storm comes by. This was the case in the infamous Ne blackout many years back as we'll as in the 2010 Christmas blizzard and Hurricane Irene that followed 9 months later. The fact that many towns in the eastern US do not watch for problem trees that could come down on utility lines as well as on homes, cars and people addresses the issue of safety.
