Halloween in Afghanistan
Cpl. Nathan J. Frady sends well wishes on Halloween from Afghanistan to his girlfriend back home in Virginia. She had sent him a care package with a few Halloween festive items, including fake mustaches and a 3 lb. pumpkin. Cpl. Frady took advantage of his limited downtime one day and carved a face into his pumpkin, snapped a photo and forwarded it to her via Facebook. He mentioned," I'm the only person in all of Afghan with a pumpkin!"
After being deployed since April 2012, he has an expected date to head home to the states set for the first week of November 2012. Cpl. Frady should be back with his girlfriend and family in time for Thanksgiving.
