    Small businesses feed New Yorkers as they struggle to return to normalcy

     
    Nov. 2, 2012 - Food is in short supply for many New York residents, along with power and water following Hurricane Sandy. Lunch trunk hands out food in Manhattan's Alphabet City on Friday. Homemade cookies and water found outside of Sons of Essex restaurant located on the lower east side on Friday.
