Clouds over the Marathon?
I think it was a wise decision to cancel the NYC marathon, however I don't think their answer was the correct one to use. They said in this article that they did "not want a cloud to hang over the race or its participants"..
http://news.blogs.cnn.com/2012/11/02/sundays-new-york-city-marathon-canceled-due-to-sandy-2/
Earlier today I posted this CNN iReport about WHY they needed to cancel this event.. http://ireport.cnn.com/docs/DOC-870888
Now city officials are more concerned over a "cloud" over the race and participants than they seem to be about the so many residents with no power or gas? The only "Cloud" that they were so afraid of, now sits over the top of them and their reasoning.. This just doesn't seem right to me, what do YOU think? Was their excuse for the wrong reasons?
