Hurricane Ike |
Extensive Tree Damage from Hurricane
Damage from Hurricane Ike is still being assessed as much as 48 hours after the storm hit as Houstonians plan the long and painful clean-up recovery. Downed trees are a major problem throughout the city of Houston. Many trees have fallen into the street blocking traffic, onto power lines, and even crashing on top of homes and other property, causing a huge headache for homeowners.
These images are taken exclusively in Houston's River Oaks community.
