    Staten Islanders show real heart as they help those in need

    Many Staten Islanders have volunteered to help those in need. Volunteers walk down blocks in need handing out food, clothing, blankets and offering physical help to those cleaning out there homes of property destroyed by Sandy. Volunteers have found a way to communicate to one another. They use this facebook page to spread the word:

    Many Staten Islanders have used this page to announce areas of Staten Island in need and specific items wanted. Posts also indicate organizations providing items people need. It's so beautiful to see so much generosity and support.
