The view from my window Oct. 29

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     This iReporter told me, 'We experienced 8-10' water levels at the base of our building, the supermarket on the ground floor was utterly destroyed, with food flowing out into the neighborhood and harbor. At 8pm, just before we lost power, the view out of our window was striking - it looked more like a river in Colorado than a neighborhood in Brooklyn. At this point, one week later, we have just received heat and hot water last night, and internet/cable moments ago.'
    - hhanks, CNN iReport producer

It was amazing to me that the water levels were so high at that time. It was a bit of a hint for how hard the night would be.
