ship wreck uncovered near ft morgan in alabama
first let me say im not a historian or an expert on old ships but i had a good time today rummaging the remains of the vessel found near the fort morgan area in gulf shores alabama, remarkably the burned hull smelled of charred material still after all this time and the amount of items that were loose but not removed by the strong water was amazing ,some of the wood has been preserved very well ,if not for the fire, amazing stuff,i looked up some details about the vessel being found after hurricane ivan but much more is visible after hurricane ike uncovered it this time,im sure some experts will be examining it soon and maybe more complete details will follow,i took about 50 photos today some have pretty good detail,i tried to choose some photos unlike the other posters have submitted ,i hope you like them as much as i did taking them.
