ATLANTA | Cold rain falls on Election Day 2012
ATLANTA -- As the rain fell upon Election Day voters in north Atlanta, most voters I spoke with stood with pride, umbrellas in hand awaiting to perform their civic duty.
As the cold rain became a problem for some, I looked forward to reaching the election booth and letting my voice be heard on this important day.
Wait times between 7:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m averaged 60 minutes.
As election night arrives, this registered voter like most Americans will be watching the local and national returns with hope that we all made a positive difference.
