    Election Day 'I Voted' challenge

Rakkelle8 and 14 other iReporters contributed to Open Story: 'I Voted' Election 2012

    My first time voting

I am from Argentina and became a US citizen in 2008. Even though I had the opportunity to vote in 2008, I did not do it since I was on vacation in Italy during the elections. This year, it is the first time in my life that I have voted since I left Argentina at 18 years of age. I am glad for this opportunity to have my voice heard through my vote. I pray that the right person, which in my opinion is not Obama, wins. As a Christian, I can only support those who abide by the Word of God, and unfortunately Obama fails to do so in many aspects, which I rather do not discuss. Regardless, thank you United States for allowing the people to choose their government.
