    Obama Wins: Hope Endures

One of the pleasantries of living in New York City is seeing the Empire State Building lit up at night, denoting various holidays and events with appropriate colors. Last night, the upper floors were bathed in red and blue for the presidential contenders. As the votes came in, the results were tracked in light on the center spire. When President Obama was declared the winner, all changed to a vibrant blue.

I appreciated the President’s speech. Hope is indeed a stubborn and resilient thing.
