    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     joshfromny1 told me, 'My area mostly sustained downed trees and power lines. Many areas in West Hempstead were in darkness until yesterday and many left still in darkness today. Nearby Garden City was hit hard with lots of downed trees but nothin compares to the destruction we have seen in Oceanside, Island Park and Long Beach. Very sad. Right now snow is sticking to streets and everything else. Trees seem to be moving a bit with the wind making the snow that falls from them sound like baseballs falling on houses.'

    The northeast once again is being tested by Mother Nature. Snow, rain, winds and flooding. Being hit again after Sandy.
