Development of Yellow Mountain
If you saw my photo of a porter on Yellow Mountain ("Even scarce things are appreciated"), you might have thought that that is a cruel act, but it is probably the only way to take materials to the higher part of the mountain at the moment.
The yellow mountain was recognised as a potential tourist spot by Deng Xiaoping. It is said that he climbed the mountain on his own foot to ensure his vision. (Of course there were no cable cars at that time!)
Then cable car lines were introduced and hotels were built. It is beyond imagination how hard and difficult it was to accomplish this project!
Thanks to that, more jobs have been created and tourists can enjoy the magnificent scenery.
